My name is Tomicka Brooks. Owner of C3, Charisma’s CupCakery, formerly known as Charisma’s Cakes and Cookies. Chicago born and bred, I started my journey after the passing of my daughter Charisma. Like many, most of us got our start with an Easy Bake Oven and spending time with the elders. My passion was reignited after Charisma’s transition.

I attended The Culinary Hospitality Institute of Chicago, where I was taught by French pastry chefs and the likes of world renowned, Gale Gand. Upon completion, I began to dabble in the pastry industry, but couldn’t find my niche. There wasn’t one. Baking served as a coping mechanism. Therapy. The therapy I didn’t know I needed. It allowed me the space to grieve and channel my energy into creating.

We are currently located in Memphis Tennessee, where we get to bring you the same creativity. We offer a variety of sweet treats scarifying flavor combinations with our confectioners.
